A Wedding S'more Bar
The Ultimate Wedding S’more bar at MN Wedding Venue Adler Ranch
At Adler Ranch Wedding Venue, we don’t just do weddings—we create immersive, unforgettable experiences. Nestled just five miles from Alexandria, MN and a short two-hour drive from both Minneapolis and Fargo, Adler Ranch blends natural beauty, vintage Americana, and hands-on hospitality into one unforgettable celebration. But one of the most talked-about features? Our signature S’more Bar—built into the back of a restored 1954 Studebaker gas truck. Yep, you read that right. It’s not just dessert—it’s an interactive experience your guests will remember long after the last toasted marshmallow.

The S'more Bar: A Culinary Adventure on Wheels
Here’s what actually happens.
The music shifts. The light changes. People start wandering outside.
And then they see it.
The vintage truck. The plaid details. The soft glow of the fire. That unmistakable smell of toasted marshmallows hitting the air.
You don’t have to announce it.
Guests just start moving toward it.
Kids first—obviously. Then adults who “aren’t really dessert people” but somehow end up holding a skewer five minutes later. Then grandparents. Then your wedding party. Then everyone.
It becomes a gathering point.
A pause in the night.
A place where people slow down, laugh, compare their marshmallow-roasting skills (or lack of), and actually interact in a way you just don’t get from a plated dessert or a cookie table.

The 1954 Studebaker gas truck at Adler Ranch is not just a vehicle; it's a piece of history
This isn’t something we ordered online.
The S’more Bar is built into the back of an original 1954 Studebaker gas truck—because at Adler Ranch, we don’t do generic.
It’s styled with layered plaid textures, vintage elements, and just enough structure to feel intentional without feeling overdone. It fits seamlessly into the entire Retro Americana vibe of the property, especially as the vintage lighted signs start glowing in the background.
At night? It hits differently.
This is one of those setups that looks good in photos—but feels even better in real life.
The Adler Ranch S'more Bar provides a charming and photogenic setting
Create memories that will be cherished forever, imagine the joy captured in photos as your loved ones gather around the vintage gas truck, toasting marshmallows, and sharing laughter. The S'more Bar not only satisfies the sweet tooth but also adds a touch of whimsy to your wedding album.

We Handle the Work—You Get the Experience
Here’s where this goes from “cute idea” to “actually worth it.”
We don’t just set out ingredients and walk away.
We handle the full setup and management of the S’more Bar so it runs smoothly all night.
That includes:
Styling and decorating the entire setup
Providing skewers (so no one’s using random sticks from the yard)
Running the fireplace and propane safely
Freezing the chocolate ahead of time (yes, it matters—it slows melting and keeps things from turning into a mess)
Putting out and maintaining the food throughout the evening
Keeping an eye on things so it stays stocked, clean-ish, and functional
You Choose the Food—We Make It Work
Because we don’t hold a catering license, you get to choose exactly what goes into your S’more Bar.
That means you’re not locked into a preset package.
You can keep it classic:
graham crackers
chocolate bars
marshmallows
Or you can level it up:
specialty chocolates
flavored marshmallows
cookies instead of graham crackers
peanut butter cups, caramels, or whatever your crowd will go for
We’ll take what you bring and turn it into a fully functioning, good-looking, easy-to-use setup that your guests can jump into without confusion.

Why Couples Add This (And Why Guests Love It)
This isn’t about dessert.
It’s about giving your guests something to do.
Something that:
breaks up the night naturally
gets people outside and moving
creates real interaction between guests
works for all ages without trying too hard
And honestly?
It’s one of the few wedding add-ons where:
kids are entertained
adults get nostalgic
and no one is asking “what are we supposed to do now?”
Simple, Memorable, and Actually Worth It
Our S’more bar experience is currently $200.
That’s not for ingredients—that’s for everything else:
the setup
the styling
the management
the experience itself
Because the difference between “we put out s’mores” and this is night and day.
Are you creating your own wedding S’more bar? These are the skewers that we feel are the best for S’more cooking for many people. They are a 12 inch bamboo skewer, they’re strong enough to hold the marshmallow and inexpensively priced. I did find longer skewers, but we didn’t want children to sword fight with the flaming marshmallow on the end, so the 12 inch is a better choice where there might be unsupervised children!
We recommend real Hershey’s chocolate and marshmallows for your S’more bar. Also explore the multitude of extra items that can be added to your wedding S’more bar, like Rolo’s carmel candy or Reece’s Peanut butter cups!
