what kind of setting is Adler Ranch?  

Adler Ranch is a unique rural wedding venue in Alexandria, MN, with a special feature that sets it apart from the rest - an extensive collection of vintage gas, oil, and lighted neon signs. These rare, hard-to-find and irreplaceable items create a unique atmosphere and provide a stunning backdrop for your special day.

The property is lit up at night, creating a magical and adventurous atmosphere for your wedding reception. With a private location, a long driveway, and a large parking space, you and your guests can enjoy the fascinating signage collection, as well as yard games and walks around the venue.

While there may be uneven ground and insects, most guests enjoy walking around the property and admiring our collection of interesting antique signs. We recommend comfortable shoes, dressing in layers, and bringing an umbrella just in case.

If you are planning to bring your children to the wedding, please note that it is your responsibility as a parent or guardian to supervise and accompany them at all times, especially in our rural setting. Please be aware that there may be uneven ground and other potential hazards on the property. Please do not allow any children to destroy landscaping, pick flowers, throw rocks, break trees or run in flower beds. This is destruction of property and you will be asked to leave. In addition, any damage caused by children will be the responsibility of the couple and damages will be charged to their damage deposit. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

can I bring my pet to the wedding?  

Although we adore pets, we only allow pets belonging to our wedding couples with special arrangements. Please keep in mind that couples are held responsible for their pets and any damages caused by them. Pets must be only on a leash, may not be left in a kennel and are not allowed in any of our buildings. If you are traveling from out of town and need a pet boarding facility, feel free to contact us for local Alexandria boarding suggestions.

alcohol and bar service 

Please note that your wedding couple has arranged for bar services to be served exclusively from our Grain Bin Bar. It is important to understand that no other alcohol is permitted on our grounds, unless it is sold through the catering on-sale liquor license. We require that you do not bring or consume your own alcoholic beverages. In addition, we do not allow alcohol consumption or smoking in the parking lot.

If your couple has selected our remote Amphitheater as their ceremony location, please note that this beautiful site is approximately a quarter-mile away from the venue yard. There are no restroom facilities at the Amphitheater. We offer both walking and driving options to reach the Amphitheater, and our parking attendants will guide you accordingly.

As this is a remote and picturesque location, we kindly ask for your cooperation in staying on the designated roads and refraining from driving across any fields. Additionally, please note that smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in the Amphitheater to prevent any risk of fire. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

is smoking allowed?   

We've designated a specific outdoor area for smoking to ensure a pleasant and tidy environment for all attendees. Smoking, including the use of e-cigarettes and vapes, is strictly prohibited inside our buildings or restrooms. Our designated smoking area is thoughtfully situated at the Conoco Bar and the Gas Station overhang, and we kindly request that guests indulge in smoking only within this designated zone. To facilitate proper disposal of cigarette waste, vintage oil cans and ashtrays have been provided for the convenience of our guests. This is your opportunity to smoke next to vintage Gas Pumps!

Please bear in mind that if wedding guests smoke outside the designated area, our wedding couples will incur the cleanup costs associated with maintaining a pristine venue. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

parking at adler ranch

During your event at Adler Ranch, you can take advantage of our on-site parking located on the southern side of our property. However, please be aware of the following parking rules:

• You may leave your vehicle in the parking lot overnight, but we ask that you remove it by 10 AM the following day.

• RV parking is not allowed.

• Overnight camping or sleeping in your vehicle is strictly prohibited.

Overnight camping is not allowed at Adler Ranch

• Overnight camping in motorhomes, campers, fishhouses, or trailers of any kind is not allowed.

• RV’s and Motorhomes may not remain on the property overnight

• Cars are welcome to remain in the parking lot overnight, we ask that you remove them by 10 AM the following day.

Beautiful venue! Would recommend to anyone searching for a beautiful rustic barn to spend your special day in! The owners are also very kind and helpful, they set up so much for us so we didn’t have to worry the day of the wedding! The outdoor area is also beautiful and all of my guests said how much they loved all of the rustic signs and the s’mores bar. Overall great experience, highly recommend!
